Have you ever wanted to learn more about how to eat foods from the natural world? Do you feel the woods and fields calling to you?
Join chef owner of Superfresh! Organic Café, holistic health coach, and author Jessica Jean Weston for an evening of cooking with wild spring edibles.
We will chat about ethical & sustainable harvesting practices, strategies for avoiding environmental pollutants, invasive plants, and the correct identification of some common and nutritious wild plants.
We will also cover some of the basic medicinal attributes of these plants and the ways that they can be incorporated into home medicine chests.
We will prepare lilac lemonade, wild green superfood gomasio (a delicious seasoning made with toasted sesame seeds and salt), and raw vegan wild green pesto.
If you don't have the time, comfort level, or access to the foraged ingredients for class there will be swaps listed in the shopping list so you can still make everything and learn for adding next time!
Almost all the plants we'll be going over in this class grow on everywhere across the globe.
Feel free to cook along with me or just watch. Shopping & materials list will be added to the course within 1 week before live class. Replay & recipe e-book will be added to the course curriculum about 72 hours after our live class.
